DESCRIPTION:

Sri Sri Ravishankar Senior Secondary School at Una, H.P. has been established under the profound aegis of Shri Krishna Educational society Regd. dated 9-11-2004 vide registration No. 2028. The above society has taken the decision to stat a school named by SSRVM, Una. The school has started in April 2006 with 108 students in rented building, aimed at providing stress free & value based education where children learn naturally In the environment specially created for their overall growth. The objective is to develop this school into an institutional where the meaning of education is to prepare the child to live with the smile on his/her face, in this ever changing world, by equipping them with all the necessary skills and information, so as to help him/her become worthy citizen of this globally linked planet.

Set in the foothills of the Great Himalayas Mountains, Sri Sri RAvishankar Senior Secondary School, Una is a Regular / Day Boarding / Boarding school. Spread over 2.5 acres of landscape, Sri Sri Ravishankar Senior Secondary School at Una presents serene surroundings & crystalline air where young minds flourish. The school provides education as prescribed by CBSE and strictly follows CCE (Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation) system. The teachers / management give their best in making the process of educational joyful & meaningful to the children.

While our school uses the prevailing curriculum, the method of teaching mainly focuses on imparting natural stress ? free value education that enables the students blossom to their fullest potential. The purpose of this specially devised methodology is to provide education which is holistic i.e. developing each and every aspect of the personality of the child an not just stuffing their heads with information. To ensure this, teachers are imparted special training by the Management from time to time. Further, to meet the objectives and aims of modern education, the teachers are guided by Board of Directors and the School Advisory Committee, with comprises of well experienced, responsible and reputed members.

In addition to regular curriculum, the school has creativity classes which deal with the right brain oriented and left brain oriented growth of the children. It includes various sets of activities like music, dance, local fold dances, dramatics, craft work, painting, Yoga, Chanting, singing devotional music, indoor games, outdoor games, field visits (visits industrial area, factory, bank, police station, hospital etc, material arts, gardening, toy making, social services, skating, shooting, horse riding, swimming and many other activities.

In addition to all these, various other facilities such as Transportation on different routs, well equipped modern laboratories, library, Educom Smart Class, Language Lab, CCTV camaeras, Computer Lab, Dance & Music room, Unlimited Broad Band. School?s own Website, online system, collaboration with India?s Top schools etc. are the main features of our school.

The 1st batch of 12th was appeared at CBSE exam in 2011 and with in the span of 5 years , 55 students have secured admission in different medical colleges and 35 students have taken admission in IIT and NIT.
