DAV Centenary Public School Una opened its portals in 1986 and the Directorate of Education, Himachal Pradesh Shimla had issued a letter of NOC on June 1986.It was affiliated to CBSE on May 1987. The extension of affiliation is up to 31-3-2018 having affiliation no 630028. It is a co-educational, English medium, Senior Secondary public school' known for its quality results in academics and sports. It is largest CBSE affiliated DAV institution of HP having more than 2600 students. The school is housed in a magnificent triple storey building situated on Nangal-Una road about 500 meters from main bus stand. Newly constructed modern junior wing with play way equipments caters to the requirements of tiny tots.

There is a great thrust to distinguish knowledge from information and to perceive teaching as a professional activity, not as coaching for memorization. Genesis:
The History of DAV School, Una dates back to 1911. It is the oldest DAV institution in the state. Right from the establishment the school students have excelled in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Students are trained for life to be high achievers and good human beings.
