DESCRIPTION:

Members of Arya Samaj, Solan cherished a dream to start an educational institute at Solan based on the principles of Vedic dharma and values of Swami Dayanand , which became a reality when its inaguration was done on 4 th March 1981 by Krishan Singh Arya the then Principal of D.A.V. College , Chandigarh.

Sh. Shashi Bushan Mital a young person that time took this reponsibility himself and took the initiative to begin this great work with limited resources .Due to his devotion he sacrificed his business and got engrossed in fulfilling this dream.

The Vidyalaya was started at Arya Samaj Bhawan in three rooms with sixty five students at the Mall Solan. Later a big building at Sunny Side was constructed and school started operating from there from 7 thSeptember ,2001.It's inaugration was done by renowned Sanyasi of Arya Jagat Swami Sumedha Nand ji on 21 st April ,2002.

Presently the school is running three branches , its junior section at the Mall, Senior Section at Sunny Side ,Solan ,and a preparatory school at Deothi. A new wing of school building has been completed and its second wing is under construction. At present 1200 students are on roll.
