Mata Jaswant Kaur Memorial School is a school established for the uplift of the poorest of the poor from surrounding villages in Badal, in the Muktsar District of Punjab. State-of-the-art amenities and excellent teaching staff add to the quality of this entirely charitable enterprise begun by the Chaudhari Devi Lal Memorial Trust. No tuition fee is charged, and clothes as well and books are supplied by the school. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, and follows the CBSE pattern of CCE in its evaluation procedure. The School provide transport service free of cost for commuting from the nearby villages.
