Bharathi Vidya Bhavan, the epitome of learning, the icon of Erode, is located near Thindal Murugan temple, Erode. While the city of Erode was filled with fragrance of turmeric, BVB was constituted in 1978 in order to quench the people?s thirst of knowledge.

The beginning of BVB commenced in 1978 under a thatched shed and now our Bharathians reside every where around the globe ornamenting several colourful feathers in the cap of Bharathi Vidya Bhavan.

The founder Late Thiru S.K.Ramasamy Gounder, Late Thiru S.P.Subbaraya Gounder, Late Thiru L.K.Muthusamy Gounder , Late Thiru K.S.Periasamy Gounder and Later Thiru V.S.Ramalinga Gounder embarked on this project and this diligent venture was inaugurated by Bharat Ratna Late Sri C.Subramaniam and by Late Sri Avanashilingam Chettiar. The sapling has been nurtured well by our Secretary and Correspondent DR.L.M.Ramakrishnan M.B.B.S,D.L.O and by our President Mrs.Aruna Rama krishanan and with our other committee members.
