Bishop Remigius School is administered by a Christian minority society namely the R. C. Diocese of Kottar, Nagercoil, Tamilnadu. This school was started as a souvenir of the Episcopal Silver Jubilee of Most.Rev.Dr.Peter Remigius, Bishop of Kottar.This school is giving education to the students belonging to all religions especially, the students of Christian Minority. Though we are administering many government aided schools and self-financing schools, we do not have any CBSE school in this locality. This is the first CBSE school started by the R.C.Diocese of Kottar.

This school is situated in the heart of Nagercoil Town, the capital of Kanyakumari District. There has been a repeated demand from the people that we should have a CBSE School in this locality. Though there are people working in Central Government organisations, it is very important to note that people having Central Government jobs are very less. To get in to premier institutes such as IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS or into any other Higher Educational Institutions belonging to Central Government, we need a central school to fulfil the aspiration of the people living in this locality. As the world is becoming more and more competitive in nature, we need to prepare the students for facing today?s challenges. For this purpose we have started this school which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
