IDHAYAM SCHOOL :
The Celebration of the Golden Jubilee Year (1949-99) of our educational institutions, has given a further impetus to our mission of service to humanity through more meaningful education. The services rendered by the Trust has been made possible by the well-wishers and philanthropists who have been continuously generous in their contribution towards all the projects of the Trust.

When the blue print for a Residential School was drawnup, Virudhunagar Idhayam Rajendran Family volunteered to donate Rupees 25 lakhs for the project. In honour of their generous contribution the Trust decided to name the school ?Idhayam Rajendran Residential School?. The School was opened in June 1999 with classes 3,4,5 and 6. In the academic year 2012-2013 Kindergarten classes were begun for day scholars both for boys and girls. The academic year 2017-2018 school became 100% day school with co-education.

THE GENERAL :
The School works from Monday to Saturday. Every month Second & Fourth Saturdays are holidays. Lunch along with drinking (mineral) water is provided by the school. The Children need not carry lunch bags and water bottles.
The Students should wear school uniform on all working days, unless otherwise notified. Parents are advised to buy uniform cloths only from the school office to ensure uniformity. The stitching pattern of the uniform will be given after the admission of the child. Books and note books are also available in the school office.
