Science Lab
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Balasore is a leading School among all the Vidyalaya in Orissa Zone for providing all sorts of Laboratory facilities to its students.For different departments like Physics,Chemistry,Biology, Junior Science Lab, it has different Laboratory .

Computer Lab
As the world is leading towards " Information Technology" , Kendriya Vidyalaya , Balasore , has introduced computer Education & Computer Awareness is introduced from class I to XII . Fifty  computers has been installed in the well equipped,Three Computer Laboratories labs are air conditioned. There are five printers (One LaserJet & Two DeskJets), two scanners and two LCD projectors (out of which one is overhead) in our computer labs. All the computers in the three comp. labs are connected in LAN and having 2 Mbps Broad band internet connection.

Activity Room
The Vidyalaya is very much concerned about the needs and interest of the delicate little children of the Primary section. To create a joyful teaching learning atmosphere and to help the teachers of Primary section to impart knowledge through Activity Based Method of Teaching a Resource/Activity room has been specially designed by the Vidyalaya where there is a big collection of teaching materials like maps, charts, masks, puppets, models activities prepared by teachers, magnetic board, flannel board, white board, press board, playing materials of some indoor games, tape records, T.V, V.C.D and O.H.P etc. The main purpose of this Activity Room is to make the learners feel homely and learn by making sustained effort again and again with the help of the teachers.
