Founded by Late Dr. P.T. Abraham, St.Mary?s Residential Public School, Thiruvalla is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is one of the pioneer Senior Secondary Schools in South India, which was established in 1974 by St.Mary?s Educational and Cultural Society, Thiruvalla, a registered charitable trust. Within a span of forty-four years, the school has made outstanding achievements in various areas of curricular and co-curricular activities and has catered to the educational needs of students all over India and those from abroad. The school managed by a Governing Council consisting of eminent educationists, is situated in the heart of Thiruvalla Municipal Town. It has an extensive campus of more than eight acres. It provides the required facilities for about two thousand students from LKG to Class XII. The school maintains a tradition of good discipline, experienced and well-qualified faculty. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. The Alumni of the school holds covetable positions in different parts of the world. St.Mary?s Residential Public School, Thiruvalla, managed by St.Mary?s Educational and Cultural Society is the first unaided CBSE School in Central Travancore and one of the oldest CBSE Schools in Kerala. The school is co-educational with a majority of girl students and is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community. The prime objective of the school is to impart secular, cultural and quality education strictly in accordance with the CBSE rules and regulations and also to aid and assist children whose parents belong to the services which are migratory in character.
