BAPUJI EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION was established in the year 1958, which succeeded in creating an atmosphere of academic excellence in the ?Knowledge city of Karnataka?. The philanthropists and men of vision ventured towards the cause of education under the aegis of this robust association. This lofty tradition has been carried forth through the years by distinguished academicians who have shaped various educational institutions to cater to contemporary demands. 57 reputed institutions including Medical, Dental and Engineering colleges stand in testimony to the dedicated efforts of this Association. Dr Shamanur Shivashankarappa is a tall figure to have held the association so high for decades now.

Smt. Parvathamma Shamanur Shivashankarappa English Medium Residential School is an enterprising vision transformed into tangible reality on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Sri Shamanur Shivashankarappa, Hon. Secretary of the Association. Under him we perceive the moving force behind the stupendous progress of the educational projects and the proliferate activities of this Association.
