DESCRIPTION:

The Capuchin Friars who are the followers of St. Francis of Assisi, who was born in Italy in the year 1181 and dedicated his entire life living and propagating the Universal Brotherhood, have drawn inspiration from their founder to live and work for the same brotherhood and to become instruments of Peace. Hence the motto of our school is "Education for Peace, Progress & Prosperity". Our school situated in the Western Ghats surrounded by Coffee Estates and the ever green fields of Kadri Midri village in Chikmagalur District. Infant Jesus School being a Christian Minority Institution was established on 4th June, 2005. Though the primary goal of the institution is to educate the Christian children, yet it is open to everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion. This school is under the management of Capuchin Friars Service Society, which is registered under the society's registration Act of 1960 (Mysore Act No. 17 of 1960).

All the members of this society are Catholic Religious belonging to the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin. They live the Gospel Values and render service to the people who are poor, needy and marginalized. Infant Jesus School has its focus on all round education with emphasis on personal growth and character formation along with integral value based development of young students.
