DESCRIPTION:

Air Force School Bidar was established in 1967.  In the year 1975 Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bidar came into being by adopting class I to VII of the existing Air Force School Bidar.  Hence, Air Force School made a fresh beginning in 1975 as a Pre-Primary School with strength of 100 students 04 teachers.  Over the years the school has grown and as on date caters to schooling needs of 800 students from LKG to Class X.  This school bagged the Best school award in IAF in the year 1999, ?Second Best? in the years 2000 under Training Command and ?Third Best? in the year 2001 under Training Command.

The School is well equipped to provide all the necessary facilities to the students of all the age groups.   The school has well equipped Science laboratories and a Library with a wide range of books on all subjects.  The school established its own computer laboratory with 32 computers, printers and scanner to impart IT education to the students. To enhance over all development of students the school is divided into four house and regular inter house competitions are conducted in the field of academics, sports and cultural activity.

The students of this school have participated in various district level and national level competitions and have bagged prizes. Efforts are constantly being put in by the school management to create the best atmosphere for growing children.  Students are constantly assessed for over all development, coaching classes are conducted for guidance and counseling of weak students.
