Nestled in the idyllic Urjanagar Township, DAV Public School, Urjanagar was established in collaboration with Eastern Coal Fields Ltd. in 1994. Far from maddening crowd of cities, this prestigious Educational Institute is situated in the district of Godda, 60 km away from Bhagalpur,  an important hub of trade and commerce in Bihar, and 110km away from Deoghar ? a holy shrine in Jharkhand. Since its inception, the school has been doing commendable service in the field of Education in this remote area of Jharkhand. The school is affiliated to Central Board Secondary Education, New Delhi Upto Higher Secondary Level in Science and Commerce streams.
