BNT ST. MARY?S SCHOOL is located at Sonpurwa,Garhwa. It is a co-educational English medium school. It was established in year 2001 by Mr. Umakant Tiwari to fulfill the dream of his father Late Baijnath Tiwari, a renowned social worker of this area . the school is running under the aegis of Baijnath Tiwari Memorial Trust. 

Today, it has 718 Students and the school is affiliated with Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi since 2010 It was established with the object of imparting modern education primarily to Catholic students in a manner that would conserve their ?Religion, Language, Script and Culture, ?but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community?.
