DESCRIPTION:

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 was established on 22/07/1986. Initially it was a primary school with class I to V, every class had two sections. Mr.L.R.Patil was the first Principal RADM. R.V.Singh(AVSM)  was the first Chairman of this Vidyalaya.The Vidyalaya grew over the years. The first batch of X class passed out from the school in year 1992. In the year 2006 science stream was introduced this year, i.e 2008 the school will introduce commerce stream. First batch of XII will be passing out from the Vidyalaya this year(2008).

The school was functioning in barracks provided by Indian Navy. In the year 1996 the school got shifted to its own building. In the year 1997, 21 staff quarters for school staff members were constructed.
