Mithilanchal in general, and Darbhanga in Particular has been the abode of learning for decades. But, still, a void was being felt at the primary and secondary education level in this ever changing academic scenario. This is a phase of transformation in the academic world, wherein, the crave for excellence begins from childhood. Today, the emphasis is not just on rote learning, but proper assimilation and application of knowledge gained.

The traditional method of teaching and learning is becoming obsolete and the completion is getting tougher day-by-day. The need of a school was being felt by guardian community which could prepare their wards to compete with their so-called ?big city? counterparts and make them confident enough to achieve their career goals.

To cater to the needs of the guardians, APS was launched on 18th November, 2005 to provide duality yet affordable education. Adopting innovative pedagogy it has since gone strength to strength.
