MODERN HIGH SCHOOL is a Co-educational Englsih Medium High School under the aegis of Modern Educational Society (Govt. Registered) under the Society Registration Act 1860. The School has classes form Preparatory to std X and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

The School was established in 1985 under the able leadership of Mrs. M. Sircar. She is also the founder Principal. The school is 25 years young today. The original building (Campus-A) was situated at R. G. Baruah Road, Guwahati-24. The school building (Campus B) is situated at Mother Teressa Road, Geetanagar, Guwahati-20. The school is well connected by road and also other means of public transport.
