H.M. Senior Secondary School (popularly known as Happy Model School) was started in the year 2000 with 67 students by Children Welfare Education & Social Welfare Society, Gurgaon. Mr. O.P. Arora, a retired horticulturist from Haryana Government, is the President of the Society. Mr. Arora is a philanthropist and has keen interest in spreading quality education among the masses. It is noteworthy that H.M. Senior Secondary School is the most affordable private school in Gurgaon. The school has all ultra-modern facilities, its low fees not with standing.
The school was affiliated to Haryana Board of School Education till 2012. Now, the school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for All India Secondary School Examination (Class X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) for Science, Commerce and Humanities. The school is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified school. The school has come of age and has strength of 750 students now. The school has well-educated, trained and experienced teachers. The student-teacher ratio never exceeds 20:1. Our classrooms are smart classes with multimedia interactive digital boards. We have well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers, Social Science and Mathematics laboratories, and a well-stocked library. Classrooms are spacious, well-lighted and ventilated. The school emphasizes on the importance of physical activities and games. It has facilities for outdoor and indoor games such as football, cricket, kho-kho, table tennis, badminton, carom, chess, etc. The school has a strong communication system. We keep in touch with parents through sms, email, circulars, and student diary. We have a transport system for students. Many of our students avail the school transport facility to commute. A complete power back-up ensures that the school has continuous power supply. One often hears several clichés when it comes to defining the ideal school environment and culture.
