DESCRIPTION:

The performance of the Scholars is evaluated on a regular basis. Regular Tests are administered to assess continuous progress. Together with Half-Yearly Examinations and Final Examinations they also form the basis for promotion to the next higher class. Students may be advised to attend Remedial Classes that are held in the College regularly. These classes are held after school hours or on holidays. Summer classes are held throughout the vacations in the morning. They are especially structured to assist Scholars in both the College Syllabus and in competitive examinations.

Colvin Taluqdars' College retains its distinction as a premier residential College. Over the years, it has been found appropriate to admit day-scholars to the institution, who can take advantage of the infrastructure provided.
