Kendriya Vidyalaya HPC/CPM Panchgram came into existence in the year 1984 with the vision of imparting quality education to the children of employees of HPC and people of nearby. This school of repute is located amidst the pristine beauty of nature on a hill in the campus of HPC Township. The Vidyalaya is sponsored by Cachar Paper Mill, Panchgram of HPC and administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Ever Since its inception, the school has grown educationally, from strength to strength. There is one section in each class from I to VIII and two sections from IX to XII. The staff members have been active in widening the horizon of knowledge by attending workshops, orientation programmes and short courses organized by The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and other agencies. The good results we continue to produce speak about the academic caliber of our faculty and cooperation of parents and students.
The school has become a special school with infrastructure comprising, one ICT room, one CMP room, a library and well equipped science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and Computer Laboratories for junior and senior students.
