D.A.V. Public School, SECL, Bishrampur is situated in the vicinity of Surguja and renders services to the children of coal miners who sweat out day and night in the remotest tribal area of Chhattisgarh to light not only the country but also excel it on to the path of development and compete with developed countries of the world. The school came into existence on the 5th August 1991 in present Saraswati Shishu Mandir building after an MOU between D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi and South Eastern Coalfields Limited, to impart qualitative education amalgamated with Vedic culture to prepare the children to meet the challenges of life and the times ahead.
D.A.V. Bishrampur is away from the maddening city traffic and crowds and its campus has lush green surroundings, a pollution-free atmosphere and an army of young bright students with their unquenchable thirst for knowledge, wisdom and spiritual growth.
