St. Paul Senior Secondary Co-Ed School affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, is one of a large net work of educational institutes run by CMI Fathers all over India especially in the southern states. The CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Congregation was founded by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara in Kerala in 1831. He was a man of God who could see beyond his times, and visualizing a society based on the values of love, equality, justice and brotherhood he started many educational and social institutions in Kerala paving a sound footing to the literacy of that part of our country. The CMI fathers have carried this movement of their founder out of Kerala to other parts of India and across the continents. At present, the CMIs have to their credit four hundred eighty seven educational institutes of great repute all over India and abroad; these include not only schools but also many prestigious colleges and deemed universities. Through these temples of learning, thousands of future leaders of our mother land who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically fit and socially acceptable, who will champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace and who are ever open to further growth, are groomed year after year.
The school aspires towards creating a just and humane society where dignity of the human person is respected, where unjust social structures are challenged, where our cultural heritage of ahimsa, religious harmony and national integration is upheld-, where the poor, the marginalized and women are specially taken care of and empowered.
