Mar Thoma Residential School was founded in 1974 by the Mar Thoma Educational Agency, Thiruvalla, Kerala, India which is a charitable body registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955. The Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Church is the Patron of the Society. The school started functioning with three teachers and eighteen pupils. From such humble beginning, the school has had a phenomenal growth. At present, it has 70 teachers and over one thousand five hundred and twenty pupls on the roll.The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. It has classes ranging from LKG to STD. XII. It enjoys the time-tested status of being one of the best schools of the council.
The school has excellent facilities for ideal residential education. Our class rooms have a manageable strength of 35 students each. The Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology are spacious and well-equipped. Junior Laboratory is available for the students of Std V to VII.
