After making a necessary arrangement in a rented house, he fixed the date and time & invited the eminent persons of Simdega for the inaugural ceremony. Thus, St. Johnís School, English Medium was inaugurated & declared open by Rev. Fr. Patric Tete, SJ, Rector of St. Maryís High School, Samtoli on July 15th 1991. Fr. Tobias Kerketta, the dean of samtoli vicariate, blessed the school and prayed for Godís assistance.
