This school is a fully residential English Medium school for boys and girls affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi [CBSE]. It consists of classes from I to XII and forms a vital educational limb of the Sri Sathya Sai University, Prasanthi Nilayam. The syllabi and textbooks followed at the school are those prescribed and recommended by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school is located inside the 'Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Giri' complex of Prasanthi Nilayam and is housed in two magnificent buildings. The imposing building with the facade of enchanting Krishna dancing on the serpent Kaliya houses the teaching and residential quarters for girls from class I to XII and for boys from class I to VII.This building is generally referred to as the Primary School.The palatial building with the sculptured Lord Dakshinamoorty presiding over it is the teaching block for boys from class VIII to XII. The towering edifice to its right is the hostel which lodges all the boys of the Higher Secondary School.
