Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Nadaun has been established in the year 1992 and is situated Kuthar P.O. Bharmoti, 2 KM away from Tehsil Head Quarter, area of Nadaun in 2.0 acres of land with vast infrastructure, state of the art facilities including audio visual teaching system, computers, library, reading room, music room, art room, Transcendental Meditation hall, yoga hall etc.
Nadaun is a small town in Himachal Pradesh, located on the foot hill of the Shivalik range forming the western end of the distt Hamirpur. The town has a small small gurudwara, which was built to commemorate Guru Govind’s victory in the Battle of Nadaun. In princely days it used to be the head quarter of the Nadaun Jagir, Maharaja Sansar Chand of Kangra.Bulle Shah mention Nadaun as city of innocent. He is said to have written the famous saying about Nadaun “Aaye Nadaun to jaye Kaun”.
Nadaun is also famous for Bilkaleshwar Mahadev Temple which is said to be have been founded by the Pandavas. It is a peaceful town with a good rest house, old palace and Shiv Temple. The palace building at Amtar still house, some of the paintings of that time. The famous Jawalaji Temple and Gorakh Dibbi is only 14 KM from Nadaun.Peer Sahib Grave is situated at distance of 1 ½ KM from Nadaun at village Bharmoti Tehsil Nadaun.
