Fatima High School is a minority English medium co-educational school situated in the heart of Ambarnath. It was founded in 1952 by the Pilar Fathers of Fatima Catholic Church belonging to the society of the Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier Pilar Goa. Having been established with the sole aim of ‘serving humanity through education’ Fatima shoulders a major responsibility of catering to the needs of students from various strata of society and works for the moral, physical, intellectual and personality development of the students entrusted to her care irrespective of caste, colour or creed
The aim of the school is not only to prepare the students academically but also to prepare them to take challenges in life, to instill a praiseworthy character, and create a balanced judgment, with the hope of drawing out the best from each of them so as to enable its pupils to blossom into worthy citizens of our country.
From a tiny mustard seed sown sixty years ago, Fatima has grown and flourished into a mighty, majestic three storeyed multi-dimensional institution giving Ambarnath a thorough face-lift. Fatima has extended her arms of love and service to her neighbouring towns of Badlapur and Ulhasnagar in order to enable students to avail of educational facilities at their doorstep.
