Paljor Namgyal Girls' School
Established in 1924 by the Scottish Missionary Honíble Dr. Mary Hepburn Scott a School for the girls of Sikkim.
The School was given a formal structure in 1944, in memory of the then Crown Prince o the Kingdom of Sikkim and thus, named Paljor Namgyal.
So, Kumar Paljor Namgyal Girls School has functioned from the present location for the last 64 years.
Pioneer in girl education the product of P N G S are spread far and wide. Every individual who has been under this banner of Love, Service & Joy is unique. During their school period they have utilized and imbibed this for the development of the self and after school, in the wider world to move towards community development.
