The Aditya Birla Public School, Grasim Vihar, Rawan, Raipur was established as DAV Public School in the year 1995, under the aegis of Grasim Cement. DPS came into role in 1997.
Subsequently in 2004 DPS was rechristened to The Aditya Birla Public School. The school was set to fulfill the need of quality education for the children of Grasim employees and the surrounding locality. The school is located at Rawan, (Raipur district, C.G) is about 70 km away from Raipur The Aditya Birla Public School is an English medium co-educational Senior Secondary (10+2) day cum boarding institution affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. As on date the school imparts education to more than 600 students of whom about 80 are Boarders (56 boys & 24girls.
Our Aim is to impart sound & liberal education to boys and girls during their impressionable years- the type of education that would lay stress on character building, team work, esprit-de-corps, physical development, and to infuse in them a spirit of adventure fair play and justice. We aim to:
• develop among our students a feeling of pride in Indian culture and produce citizens ,who will be truly Indian and will rise above social, communal, religious and provincial prejudices.
• develop an attitude of positive response to the persistent demands of changing society, yet firmly upholding belief in our basic values and standards.
• we strive to inculcate a keep spirit to make the students a highly alert and motivated individual equipped to meet the challenges of the modern world.
