In the year 1981 Mrs. Ratna Iyer (Vimla) founder of the institution started a small school at Nai Abadi a humble beginning with only five children. Her self confidence, courage and fortitude coupled with her firm determination and dedication to the cause of education did not fail to attract attention of the people of all the sections of the society. The response to her devoted service came in the form of a large number of students trying to seek admission to her tiny institution. The strength of the institution increased non-stop year after year and the founder of the institution was constrained to make a search for a spacious accommodation to accommodate the increase number of students. Her efforts however did bear fruit and in the year 1986-87 the school was allotted a land for its building purpose on Ratlam Road, near Kagdi Pick-up.
Keeping in view the ever increasing demand of the public the foundation stone of the school building was laid in the allotted land near Kagdi on 7th Dec. 1989. In the month of July 1991 the school shifted to its own building at Kagdi Pick-up on Ratlam Road, and the school was upgraded to upper primary i.e. upto class VIII.
In the year 1994 the school was affiliated with CBSE New Delhi and the children appeared for their first Public Board Examination of Class X and the result had been successful. In the year 1995 the school was upgraded to Sr. Level with commerce faculty. In the subsequent year 96, 97, 98, 99 the school maintained its standard of achievement with proper guidance from the founder.
The appreciation initiated her to open science faculty from the academic session 1997-98 and the first batch of science students appeared for the AISSCE in 1999. The results were outstanding and excellent. We credit all our achievements to our dedicated teaching staff and parents. With all her efforts, not the school has raised upto Sr. level but also the whole campus has been developed with different blocks Viz; Montessori, Primary, Secondary and Sr. Secondary alongwith laboratories one each, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science. She also promoted sports/games, co-curricular activities among the children to attain a balanced growth by emphasizing equal weightage on both curricular and co-curricular activities. The school has a vast play ground and all the materials for a variety of games & sports.
