Carmel Convent school established in 1971, is under the management of the institute of the carmalite sisters of St. Teresa a Registerd society.
The School is a Minority Educational institution and hence gives first preference to Christians at the time of admission. This isan English Medium school recognized by the central board of Secondary education, New Delhi. Hindiis taught as a second language and is given full importance from very start, because knowledge of hindi is very essential for suceesfull carier in India, Every student from std.VI onwards has to learn a third language Sanskrit. The study of value education remains obligatory for all students.
The objective of the institution is to give the girls and boys a sound education under the care of the sisters who regards it as their most sacred duty not only to cultivate the mind but also to form the heart and mould the character of the pupils confined to their duties in life, as good citizen of india by imparting to them a sound, morals, physical and intellectual training.
